The R-12b room controller is designed for systems based on wired TECH SBUS communication, such as L-4x Wi-Fi, L-X Wi-Fi, and L-12.

Clear and Easy-to-Read Display

The large screen provides convenient reading of parameters.

Key information on the display:

Air Temperature – current measurement for full control over comfort.
Air Humidity – monitoring the humidity level.

Connection and Communication

Registration – The button located on the back of the device is used to register the controller in the system. Pressing it initiates the pairing process with the central unit. After successful registration, a confirmation message will appear on the controller’s display.

Termination – The terminating switch allows you to set the controller’s position in the system transmission line. Depending on the device’s location, set it to the appropriate position:

ON – if the controller is at the end of the line
1 – if the controller is in the middle of the line

Power and Communication – On the back of the controller, there is a connector for:

GND, +5V – power from the 5V strip
A, B – TECH SBUS communication with the strip
Floor sensor – used for measuring floor temperature

Floor Sensor Installation

The sensor should be installed in the top layer of the screed – directly under panels or tiles. For easier installation and maintenance, it is recommended to place it inside a protective conduit.

To ensure accurate measurement and avoid thermal bridges, it is recommended to install the sensor approximately 100 cm from the wall. The sensor maintains comfortable floor temperature and protects it from overheating – regardless of the room temperature.

Device Dimensions

The glass devices of the R-12b series have been designed compactly to perfectly fit a single glass front. Thanks to carefully chosen dimensions, the devices fit perfectly into standard mounting boxes, ensuring an aesthetic finish and ideal integration.
