Pellet Level Sensor
Principle of Operation
The EU-67 sensor is intended to control the level of solid biofuels (pellet, oats, corn etc.) both in the containers of heating boilers as well as in any type of grain silos where the maximum spacing of measurement sensors does not exceed 3.5m. In order for the control to proceed correctly, it is necessary to supply only dry fuel to the tank. The principle of the device’s operation is based on determining the level of solid biofuel with the use of adequately spaced capacitive sensors. When the level of biofuel in the tank drops below the lower sensor, the device feeds the voltage signal (230V) to the motor of the external feeder until the container is filled to the level of the upper sensor. Such operation results in a continuous periodical supplementation of the lack of fuel in the tank with no additional human interference.
Functions Performed by the Controller:
Keeping the quantity of pellet at a constant level through the periodical supplementation of shortages.
Determining the level with the use of adequately located sensors.
Controller’s Equipment:
Power supply cable with a plug, factory-mounted, with a length of 2.5m
Power supply cable for the motor of the external feeder, with a length of 2m
Two sensors (capacitive), factory-mounted, each 2m long
